1.Do the ingredients work

The initial step towards achieving lightweight production involves selecting the right ingredients. The design of the formulation for raw materials and the process of preparing batches are crucial, as factors such as raw material composition, particle size, moisture content, batch consistency, and the quality and uniformity of cullet directly influence the final product's quality. It is essential to establish a stable formula for dosing operations. Additionally, it is important to create and rigorously uphold standards for raw materials while institutionalizing the batch preparation process.

2.The melting process

The process of melting glass is essential for maintaining the quality of glass packaging and plays a crucial role in making glass packaging more environmentally friendly. This melting procedure can be generally categorized into five distinct stages: the formation of silicates, the actual formation of glass, clarification, homogenization, and cooling. The melting operation is continuous, with each stage occurring in separate areas of the furnace to precisely manage the temperature at each section. Ensuring stable operating specifications for the kiln is vital for successful results.

3. Molding control

To achieve the desired molding results and ensure consistent wall thickness, effective control of the molding process is essential. The glass manufacturing process can be divided into two main stages: forming and shaping. These stages occur continuously, requiring careful management of the glass's viscosity and temperature during molding, as well as heat transfer to the surrounding medium via the mold. For glass containers, three critical temperature values are monitored during forming: softening temperature, annealing temperature, and strain point. It is crucial to determine appropriate parameters through experimentation for different products. Utilizing advanced bottle-making techniques, along with improved feeding and heating systems, facilitates an even wall thickness—an essential factor in achieving lightweight designs.

4.Eliminate the residual

Utilize efficient annealing techniques to remove detrimental residual stress in glass bottles or jars. The purpose of annealing is to diminish or eradicate the residual stresses that occur during the heat treatment of glass, bringing them down to acceptable levels. Throughout the manufacturing process, glass products inevitably develop thermal or permanent stresses. To alleviate these thermal stresses, it is essential to heat the glass to its annealing temperature, maintain that temperature for a period, and allow it to stabilize, thereby adjusting its internal structure and relieving stress.
