Improve the rate of glass bottle production

Technological progress improves the rate of glass bottle production

Production of glass bottles involves melting raw materials for making glass bottles through an industrial furnace and then feeding them through an automatic cutting feeder into bottle machines with different weights and types of material to complete production of bottles. Stability of gob is of utmost importance in production.
In the process of glass bottle production, coal and natural gas are essential

The majority of the initial glass bottle factory kiln furnaces are partially fueled by gas. There is significant variation in the temperature of the glass within the feeder bowl, leading to cut glass clusters of varying sizes. Adjustments are often made slowly using an oil gun (steam jet) and observation hole. Once it reaches the bottle machine, it becomes challenging to manage. Consequently, there is a high rate of defective glass bottles produced. This issue has had a negative impact on the overall progress of the glass bottle factory during a certain period.

In recent years, the glass bottle factory has made significant upgrades to its production process. The kilns now operate on full gas, and the feeder feed ports have been replaced with electric heating technology. This includes the installation of high-temperature electric silicon carbon rods in the material basin, allowing for automatic temperature adjustments. As a result, the material temperature in the basin can be controlled within a narrow range of 5 to 10 degrees above and below the desired level. This has led to a more consistent feed of droplets to the bottle machine, resulting in uniform elasticity and improved stability of the glass during production. These enhancements have not only increased the efficiency of bottle-making but also significantly boosted production rates.
